One of the biggest advantages of the digital revolution when it comes to training is that companies can now deliver high-quality training materials over their broadband Internet connection.  In the injection molding industry, companies both large and small find that they can deliver injection molding training to their employees at a much lower cost than otherwise would be possible.

All that is required is a broadband Internet connection and a subscription from a training content provider.  The way it works is this:  The employee logs into their account which is pre-populated with their specific curriculum of courses to be taken.  They log on to the specific course that they are scheduled for and go through the training lesson. All of their activity during that training lesson is recorded.  This information includes test scores, amount of time they were logged into the trainingt lessons, and pre-and post-test evaluations.  The only people with access to each employee specific training records are traiing administrators, so employees don’t have to worry about other employees knowing how well or poorly they may have done on a specific course.

This type of training is only going to get more popular because of all the advantages that it offers.
