Many of us Americans use our bank accounts and write checks on a day to day basis. However, as much convenience as that provides us, that also leaves a few points to be desired. With so much traffic flow of information, it is bound to happen sooner or later that some snippet of data here and there lands in the wrong hands. And if the piece of data that happens to land in the wrong hands are sensitive or dangerous, such as the password to your bank account or some sensitive piece of corporate information, your whole life and identity can be at stake. That is why I personally use a identity theft service called LifeLock in order to preserve my identity and credit scores in case of any bad events. I really feel that it’s a good practice to get into, since it’s so cheap afterall!
