I am not a tech purist (no holy wars in my house re Microsoft Vs. Mac – we have both) however, I have to say I think cable beats DSL hands down in almost all the high speed ISP Provider categories. I have DSL at our small sales office where I work and Cable modem at hoe. Cable is much cheaper per month (speeds being equal.) I know one of the knocks against cable is that you share the bandwidth with your neighbors, however, I have had cable in a huge apartment complex, in a condo and now in a suburb and I have to tll you I have never noticed any drop (maybe its my cable provider thats good.) DSL further you are from the station slower it is, for me living out in NH that would mean slow!
One of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had is when I call a company, be it for a phone service, insurance needs, or even trying to get through to the county, and I have to wade through a maze of computer instructions. Generally even after pressing two, holding, being transfered to India, holding, and being transfered again, I almost invariably end up talking to a person that I can’t understand and who is in the wrong department anyway. These places need to get some CRM software and consulting in place, and realize that they will lose customers if they can’t be easily reached for questions or concerns.
The Windows version of Pwnage, the iPhone Unlocking Software for iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch, is out now. Like the Mac OS X version, it will free all models to install non-Apple-approved applications, but it won’t unlock the iPhone 3G to liberate you from roaming charges. For unlocking you will need a special SIM card.
According to their site, WinPwn 2.0.0.1 has the following features:
- Support for both 1.1.4 and 2.0
- Custom Image Support
- Custom Payload Support
- 3g iPhone support
I’m personally really excited about this, as I will now finally be able to unlock my iPhone!

Are you thinking of getting high speed internet? If you are, here are some ideas that will help you to make better decisions. Fact is many people choose broadband services due to price. This may be a good point to start. But you should note that the cheapest broadband provider may not be the best. Before you sign the contract, you should read teh terms of support. If the support is poor, it is not worth using their service. Yes, they may be cheap, but you may get disconnectivity problem regularly. The whole idea is to enjoy the hihg speed surfing experience. If you compensate that for price, it’s really not worth it. Also check if the contract come with the necessary hardware and software. It is possible that inexpensive broadband provider will tack on high fees for software.

ASP.NET is a web application framework designed and marketed my Microsoft. Programmers and developers can use ASP.NET to develop and maintain dynamic web sites, applications for use on the internet and other web services. When it was originally developed by Microsoft it was called XSP, bust was renamed ASP.NET after the release of the .NET framework in 2000. ASP.NET can be very complex but there are numerous microsoft training courses available at Colleges, Universities and even online where the person can train at a location or distant learning from home. After various training stages are complete, the person can achieve a certificate or a qualification as a show of their skills in the field of ASP.NET
There is at this moment a immense array of web design professionals to choose from, and after the United States, I believe the Brits would be the next strongest market-place for locating that kind of thing. Our place of business is based in Chichester and naturally I searched on MSN for "web design chichester", as its a fairly normal thing to do, and a business known as vsense came out number one.I had a look at their site, I spoke with the Manager, and then I put them to work…I have to say, I applaud Yahoo for locating a most proficient and efficient business - plus the results were nothing short of superb.Check em out for yourselves, and maybe your website can be as knockout as mine.Alan
I am looking to find a good website to compare all of my options for cell phones. I know there probably isn’t a website that has every phone ever made, but I am looking for a website that has the most popular phones, something like this one here but on this side of the pond. I want a website that says "Here are the best deals on the most popular phones" so that I don’t have to be looking all over the internet at each cell phone company website trying to decide which phone I should get. I would really appreciate any suggestions people can give me about good websites.
If the printer is to be used in an office with multiple computer users or you have a home network set up, then you will want a network ready printer. When an office is making do with a single network printer to address all their printing needs, it can be a big problem if the network printer bogs down. Setting up a network printer is a good way of increasing efficiency in the office. There are many considerations that need to be addressed when you are looking to buy a printer, whether for home, small office, or large volume printing. Efficiency within the workplace must always be a guarantee no matter how big or small the office is. No matter how small an office is, if it uses a network printer, the people maintaining this printer has to be sure that it is always working at an optimum level, or else it will be a huge inconvenience for everyone, with the potential to bog down the whole work process for the office. The three most important features are laser printers vs. inkjet printers, the cost of toner or ink, and can the printer be quickly installed onto a network.
I have been looking into two way radios for work, trying to decide which ones we should buy. So far I think I am leaning toward the MOTOROLA T9550RCAMO 25-Mile 2-Way Radio. Does anyone know if this is a good two way radio or not? I am really interested in finding some reviews of this radio that I can use to find out more about it. So far I have only seen the specs from the manufacturer, so I know what it is supposed to do, but I don’t know if it really does the job well. Can anyone tell me more about it?
I just moved to an area with zero cable reception, and since I need my MTV, I am looking into alteranative sources of TV, namelysatellite TV. However, I have been stumped by the Dish Network vs Direct TV debate. I can’t figure out which one to pick, nor am I even sure how to evaluate the two. Has anyone been through this before? Can you help guide me through the wilderness that is satellite TV providers? Is there even any good way to make a decision or should I just pick from a hat? Money is definitely an issue here, but I am most concerned about getting the most for my money (not about finding the cheapest). Thanks in advance.
Making the change to digital. I finally went to buy a digital camera. It has been a long time coming and now that the purchase has been made I am thrilled. I have only had it for about a week and already and I can tell I am going to love it. It is so tiny and fit perfectly in my purse. I don’t have to feel bad about how many pictures I take of the kids doing silly things and feel like I am wasting film. And, it is so easy to upload the images to my computer and erase the ones I don’t like and keep the ones I do. What an invention - I love it!

All you have to do is pick out one of the mobile phones available and the contract you prefer and your Playstation 3 is free. You can choose from a large range of phones including BlackBerrys, T-Mobiles, HTC Touch Diamond, JBC, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Erickson brands.
I am trying to choose between the two main providers of satellite TV and cannot think of any good way to make my decision. It seems like it will really be a difficult choice, perhaps just coming down to price or silly amenities (like the availability of satellite radio: though honestly, does anyone listen to radio on a TV anyway?) I know that I should just go with my gut and choose one over the other, but I really am having difficulties with this decision. It is driving me wild. I wish that I really didn’t have to make the Dish Network vs Direct TV distinction, but I know that of course I have to pick a provider and stay with it.
