Since I had some experience with this in the past few months, I decided to write a mini-article of sorts in case someone wants to learn from my experiences with sharepoint consulting.
You see. I think SC is really best-suited to people who can pull an ROI out of it. This means that you are at least a medium-sized business. A small business simply doesn’t have all that much to optimize and integrate. You see, where consultants are awesome is squeezing every last bit of productivity out of the system, and there actually has to be wiggle room for that to work. There has to be employees to move around, hardware purchases to decide on, licencing schemes etc. If you’re a small business, you don’t even have problems that a consultant needs to solve, lol. Its that simple.
