Why do you need grains in your body, and why is it considered as good cholesterol food? It has been found out that they can actually prevent the buildup of fat in your body by removing those that you no longer need, transforming them into wastes. However, before you decide to get every possible grain out there, you have to remember that not all grains can pass as great cholesterol foods. The best ones include Angel food cake, fig bars, whole grain breads, rice, pasta, and vanilla wafers. You have to avoid eating egg noodles, cheesecakes, pies, and any frosted cake, because of their high sugar content.
