My niece was in a horse riding accident and is unable to walk anymore. she has done great with rehab and is using her wheel chair like a pro. My sister wants to look into mobility scooters so she will be able to get around even better. I asked her if their was any age that a child had to be before they could use one of these? My niece is 13 years old. From what we can gather, their town doe sn have any set rules about “driving age” for scooters. Helmets are required on congested roads in town. Not that she is going to be on the highway!
