I was at a friends house yesterday, it was a very cold day which is why I remember it so well. Everything was fine at first but at some point the room got very cold and we couldn’t get the heater to work. It was coming on but there was no air coming from the vents. We called a service technician and discovered that the heat pump was out. Apparently without the heat pump the central heat won’t blow the hot air into the house. He tried to install the pump he brought but came to realize that he had the wrong one. Heat Pumps are not all the same, something I didn’t know.
