We thought that because we were building close to the coast and in a place where there would be a lot of fog that our only choice was electric lights. When we visited our friends and saw that they had roof skylights we began to rethink our previous stand. Their advise was to put them everywhere but the bedroom. there is something about the sun spilling in on a summer morning that detracts from being able to sleep in. We took that as sound advise and now have a beautifully well lighted home and almost feel like we are going into a cave when we go to bed.
