I think the best set of Magic the Gathering cards to buy is the 2010 Core Set. I cannot wait to get this because this set will change my whole game! In it are half classic cards from the past, and the other half contains classics in the making. This set also comes with the Lightning Bolt that you are sure to get a charge out of. This edition comes with 249 cards. Of that, there are 15 mythic rares and 53 rares. I have been losing every time I’ve been playing this game lately, but I know that as soon as I get this new set, things will change for me.
