On a recent holiday in Australia I travelled to the south of the country and found myself in an area called Adelaide Hills. I read in one of the many brochures I found at the local tourist center that the area was famous for its wine. With this in mind I decided that it was only right for me to go and visit some of the vineyards in the area and taste the local wine. The first vineyard I went to was called the Mount Barker vineyard, which was located on the eastern extremity of the Adelaide Hills, cultivate and this vineyard produces a refined and unique style of Australian Shiraz. After a short tour of the vineyard itself it was time for the wine tasting which of course was my favourite part of the day – especially as I was not driving.
