With today’s fuel prices skyrocketing, more and more people are looking to alternative energy sources in order to power their homes. However, there are advantages and disadvantages to every energy source available in the world. I am wondering what the pros and cons of wind energy are. Wind is obviously free, but it isn’t plentiful in all areas of the world. Also, I am not sure how long it would take to recoup the costs of installing the windmills and converters. This is probably an energy source that would have to be initiated and controlled by a company rather than individual home owners.
