It’s so much fun living in a small town. I really wouldn’t change it for anything. We’re big enough that we can easily get the basics but small enough that there is still a great community feel. Our parades are fantastic. We actually still have things like real live floats, all decorated and everything. There’s always vendors promoting their businesses as well. You see everything from construction companies to Scentsy consultants. Usually there’s coupons and fliers to pass around. There is also a ton of candy. I think there would a be a city wide protest if anyone tried to mess with that tradition. It’s great fun.
