Population growth in the United States is made up of almost entirely minorities, and half of that is by the Latino and Hispanic communities. However, minorities still tend to struggle in school and many times do not have family at home with the language or math skills to help them. As a result, more and more of the youth in this country are doing worse and worse in school, and when these children grow up they are going be the workforce of this country. This is why US immigration policy is so important to learn about and deal with right now. The students in our schools need help, they need tutoring, because everyone is suffering as the curriculum is slowed to accommodate everyone. Look for ways to help in your community before it’s too late and our children cannot compete in the global workplace.
