I met a particularly nasty woman who kept referring to my church as a “mormon cult“, but we weren’t the only ones she completely offended. Another woman first entered the discussion, also saying we were a mormon cult and that she had recently become Catholic. I corrected her about some claims she made and she was quite rude, but thanked me after the first woman trashed her beliefs as well. The way she spoke about the Eucharist was beyond offensive and the Catholic woman even said it made her cry. She then apologized for the way she had treated me at the beginning.
