Okay, here’s a tip for you tile laying newbies. First off, get yourself a set of knee pads. You don’t have to go and get the great big robotic ones, the simple and cheap leather knee pads work great. They’re even a bit easier to get around in because they are smooth. You can almost glide across the floor with a pair of them on. One thing you don’t want to do is leave them on when you leave the jobsite, though. It’s a bit weird to walk in for a burger with ‘em on.
