In the top of the pops of languages, can you guess what is at the top? It’s Mandarin. But is it a language you want to learn? Maybe. It’s really hard and wouldn’t it be upsetting that after you’d learned it you still wouldn’t be able to watch the early Jackie Chan films; they were in Cantonese.Second in the chart is Hindustani. Narrowly missing out is Spanish, which gets the third spot. Either they need to get more people to learn the language or get some native speakers having more babies. It all sounds like fun.But what’s down in fourth place? It’s English. You can tell it is a language that many people are trying to learn because there are many of places that have good English Schools Ireland, America, even England of course. It’s strange that a language all the way down in fourth place would be one that so many people want to learn. It’s probably because of America’s financial influence in the world. It just goes to show, you don’t have to be at the top of the charts to be successful.
