Some shoes lose steam as they age. This hasn’t happened with my Vans. I wear Vans Old Skool, so does my wife and my daughter. They are comfortable, familiar and keep me young at heart. My black and white pair have been worn endlessly, so it will be soon time or a new pair, soon and I can’t wait. I get excited every time I need a pair. It’s as if Vans and I are meeting for the first time each time I buy a new pair. I expect I will be wearing Vans at age 60, 70, and 80. I’ll request to be buried in them.
